Textile is our second skin. It carries memories, security and hope. I have been painting on ‘Cheetha‘ Sri Lankan traditional textile since year 2000. ‘Cheetha’ textile has been in my surrounding since the childhood. Going through and behind already printed colourful flower patterns to bring out my imagination is a process of meditation. for the viewers it is an adventure to go through these layers to find the hidden image.
